I realize this blog is all over the place. Maybe someday I'll figure out what I want to be when I grow up. One of my hobbies is cooking. Here is my granola recipe. Eat a cup of this in the morning with some almond milk and you'll feed healthier all day long. Layne’s (soon to be) Famous Granola 10 cups rolled oats 2 cups of 7 grain cereal 1 cup sunflower seeds 2 cups sliced almonds 1/2 cup flax seed 3 cups flaked coconut 2 cups dried cranberries 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup real maple syrup 1/2 cup honey 1/4 cup molasses 1 cup canola oil 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon salt (may be omitted if the sunflower seeds are salted) Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Spray 2 large baking sheets with non-stick spray. Combine the oats, 7 grain, sunflower seeds, almonds, coconut, and flax seed in a large bowl.
